Amarena Collection is proudly managed by Tommaso and Maria, who in their early thirties left the corporate world to spend their days working on what they loved – Puglia. Early 2018 they co-founded Perrone Associates, a tourism & hospitality management company based in Lecce, deep Italy's heel, that owns and operates the brand.
The entire house is a small beachside building uniquely located in Puglia, just a few minutes drive to downtown Gallipoli, and boasts the perfect basis for discovering the region. The building has been recently converted into a little hideaway featuring 5 suites differing in size, form and layout, each with independent entrance. All suites have playfully designed rooms and are furnished with a selection of contemporary design and combinations of deep warm colors and materials. In particular, two suites Aquarius and Apulia are equipped with private rooftop terrace overlooking literally the sea.
At Amarena we put a big emphasis on the relaxed side and the typical Mediterranean style of the stay experience. But we also believe that when you're visiting a place, connecting with local living cultures and lifestyle can deeply transform your travel experience, making it more exclusive, authentic and original.

In 2023 we launched Amarena Villas and Pietrabianca, an exclusive villa located on the edge of the Porto Selvaggio Natural Park, close to the sea. Immersed in one hectare of secular pines with large outdoor Jacuzzi, rooftop solarium and a terrace that enjoys a great sea view Villa Pietrabianca offers a truly authentic stay experience in the heart of an area of outstanding natural beauty. A unique place to unplug from the chaos of everyday life steps to the sea.
A strongly pursued project wanted by Aldo, Maria and Tommaso to help discover how food used to taste will be launched in late 2024.
It focuses in featuring farm-fresh groceries sourced from The Black Donkey family, a network of hundred of talian small and independent producers and passionate farmers. The black donkey is an autochthonous breed of donkeys living originally in central Puglia amid Idria Valley and the area around Martina Franca.
The donkey as symbol of slow, hard local farmers, and one of most affordable options for the transportation of goods in an authentic world nearly disappeared. This world is acually what we're working hard on to recover culinary and bring right to you, easily delivered to your front door.
